I forgot how much I missed this place.
Quiet, serene....
The deck off of my condo, which I've dubbed as "Sanity Island" when co-workers ask me where I'm going on my day off from the office, is one of my favorite places to relax. Last summer when I moved in, this quickly became one of my favorite characteristics of my new space. Now that the snow is gone and the temps are rising, I can use this space again. Last year, I spent countless hours out here eating cereal and watching the sun rise before heading to the office, reading a book on the weekend, or unwinding in the evenings from a busy day like today.
I've spent a good chunk of time reading up on blogging and came across this lovely lady's blog...and she's a "Laura" too! After reading through a lot of her posts, I really liked her idea of posting goals for the month as a visual reminder to keep in pursuit of accomplishments, no matter how big or small they may be. Therefore, I present to you goals for this month...which will probably end up being for part of May too, since April is already almost half over! (Wow!)
I'm off to relax before another day. Tonight's agenda consists of dinner, a good book, and a little Pandora before hitting the hay early.
